A RESOLUTION COMMENDING PAUL MORGAN UPON BECOMING A MEMBER OF THE MISSISSIPPI PRIDE FOOTBALL TEAM.

WHEREAS, Paul Morgan has become a member of the Mississippi Pride football team; and

WHEREAS, Paul Morgan is joining high school teammates, Malikia Griffin and Johnny Jones, who are also on the Mississippi Pride roster; and

WHEREAS, Paul Morgan was a member of South Panola's 1993 state championship team; and

WHEREAS, Paul Morgan was known as a dedicated team player in his collegiate career at Vanderbilt; and

WHEREAS, Paul Morgan distinguished himself as a hard hitter and as one of the best blocking backs on the team; and

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the Senate to commend the meritorious accomplishments of the citizens of the State of Mississippi:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MISSISSIPPI SENATE, That we do hereby commend Paul Morgan upon becoming a member of the Mississippi Pride football team and wish him continued success in his endeavors.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be presented to Paul Morgan.
